Eagle's Rest

When I first started working on the design for Eagle's Rest almost forty years ago I envisioned a community unlike any other in the state.  My goal was to develop a community that looked and felt like a traditional site-built development, but to leverage the economies of manufactured housing.  

We started with our unusual density: spacing the homes out more than typical, spreading 55 homes over 57 acres.  Many communities have 3 and even 4 homes per acre; Eagle's Rest has only one. Whereas other developments make up for the "neighbor on your doorstep" design by offering community centers and pools-- which end up seldom used-- we felt that very large lots with room for gardens and garages were more desirable. We're sure you'll agree!

These decisions are what make Eagle's Rest an oasis of privacy and serenity, and make the most of our very desirable location right in the heart of the New Hampshire lakes region.
